Hi All,

Disclosure right up front. I have never built a card model and didn't even know they existed before I read about them and saw examples of them at the wooden model ship forum I belong to. After seeing examples and following "build logs", I've decided to give one a try. I'm finishing up a wooden ship now and will try the card thing. I build wooden ships, plastic models, metal models, have 2 different gauge train sets and build guitars from scratch. Now obviously some of these hobbies need exclusive attention, therefore I'm usually only in one at a time. Retired this past December, so I have more time to dabble than I have in the past.

Welcome!  At one point I wanted to salvage my old HO railroad with card buildings.  There are many available.

Have fun with it...paper and card are just another medium for building scale models.
