Dear List folks:
This is interesting being part of the launch of a new forum in paper modeling. No Rules is good rules? or Keep it clean and calm.
Thanks,
MILES

Its definitely the place for "News" from Dave's Card Creations.
So, I guess I set the tone for those posts.

But its just a public forum and community place for paper modelers, or anyone interested in scale modeling.
I guess the topics should be primarily scale model related, hopefully more paper model than anything else.

Heres some general rules then...

1. No Porn
2. No Spam
3. No Cats
4. No Plastic (extremely flexible rule)

Note: Rules to be amended when I feel like it.

I'm not really worried about curse words as long as they are offered in context
and not as spam, insults or general troublesome posts.

And along the same lines, adult-themed or nudity is not necessarily taboo.
As long as its not offensive, pornographic or just completely inappropriate to the discussion.

I know that there are paper purists out there.  How much digression from paper as the main part of the model are you going to tolerate? I.E. wooden dowels, balsa, putty. Etc.etc.

Mike, this particular thread (and Mile's first post) have to do with basic Forum Etiquette and Rules of behaviour.
I think Miles is asking, do we allow some of the off-topic banter that occurs on other forums.

[My answer is "you are free to joke about Useless Cats all you like!"]

Your question is about what Model Builders tolerate in respect to building "paper" models...right?

Are you asking this question in reference to a specific model or build?

or are you just asking in general?
This would be a topic for the General Discussion area.
In fact...I think I will go start the thread right now!

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS UP!
