Thank you so much for the help, Dave! It worked!

Anyways... Hey, y'all. New girl here from south Louisiana. Haven't done any paper models yet, not sure exactly what I'd like to do first. Ships look fun, but so do airplanes. I have built a few dollhouses in the past, but space and money prevent that now. I do have a plastic model in progress, but getting frustrated with it so I put it up for a little while. Thinking of maybe starting with a paper house or something simple, but not quite sure if I have the right stuff.

Looking forward to getting to know my way around here and hopefully getting to be helpful one day...

Welcome to the forum.

Models are either organic shapes (curvy) or rectilinear (boxy).  There are so many boxy paper models out there, but to get a feel for working curvy, try some of Dave's Koolwheelz or the Canon one-page animals.
There are no strangers in this world ...
Only people I haven't embarrassed ... yet

I knew a Michelle McIntyre in High School here in the Great White North.

So many skill levels and types of models to choose from.
You never what will work and what won't.
Try everything.

The good thing about paper models is you can download something for free,
try it, toss it, and try it again later.

I've thrown away a ton of half finished models.

Just have fun.
And if you need help, just ask.
